Style Board (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains the minimal data practices associated with our Shop Mini app within the Shopify Shop ecosystem.
By using Style Board, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We believe in collecting only what is strictly necessary to make the App work. Our data collection is limited to:
• Review Data: When you leave a review, we collect the Star Rating value (e.g., 5 stars) and the ID of the specific "look" or item being reviewed.
• Anonymous Usage: This review data is stored anonymously. We do not link the star rating to your personal user profile, name, or email address.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
To be perfectly clear, there are several standard data points we strictly do not access or store:
• No Personal Identity: We do not store your name, email, phone number, or physical address.
• No Device Permissions: The App does not access your device’s camera, microphone, photo gallery, or contacts.
• No Location Data: We do not track or store your geographic location.
3. How We Use Information
We use the anonymous Review Data solely for the following purpose:
• Aggregating Scores: To calculate and display the total rating of a "look" within the Style Board interface.
4. Data Sharing & The Shop App
Style Board operates as a Mini within the Shopify Shop App.
• Shopify: Because we operate within their ecosystem, your general usage of the Shop App is governed by Shopify’s Privacy Policy.
• Third Parties: We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to outside parties.
5. Data Retention
Since the reviews are anonymous and contain no personal identifiers, they may be retained indefinitely to ensure the rating counts on "looks" remain accurate.
6. Your Rights
Because we do not link reviews to specific users, we cannot identify which review belongs to you. Therefore, we cannot modify or delete specific past reviews upon request, as we have no way of verifying ownership of that data.
